Ranked as a “Next Generation Partner” by The Legal 500 2025, Charlotte qualified in 2005 but has specialised exclusively in family law since 2007. She joined Dawson Cornwell 2011 and was made up to partner in 2015.
She advises on all issues relating to relationship breakdown; divorce, cohabitation and applications for financial remedy as well as children related matters such as contact and residence. She is experienced in drafting and advising on pre-nuptial and pre-civil partnerships.
She also has a niche contentious trust practice, acting in complex litigation centering on assets held in an estate or by a trust.
Before deciding to specialise in family law, Charlotte spent 2 years as a commercial litigation lawyer, specialising in issues such as breach of contract, negligence, nuisance, civil fraud, restraint and confiscation, directors disqualification, shareholder and partnership disputes and corporate and personal insolvency.
Charlotte is a member of Resolution and is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in Advanced Financial Provision I and II.
