Profile

Having trained at a top boutique London family law firm, predominantly in their Children Department, Sacha qualified in November 2021. She specialises exclusively in children law cases, especially those that have international elements. Sacha subsequently joined Dawson Cornwell’s industry-leading Children Department in February 2023.

Sacha has an Upper Second-Class Honours degree in Classics from Jesus College, Cambridge. Her specialisms included History, Art and Archaeology. As a student, Sacha interned at several divorce and family law firms, including a mini-pupillage, offering her an early insight into matrimonial finance and children disputes.

After graduating in 2018, Sacha then completed her Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP, where she completed a project on the compatibility of family and fertility law. She then completed her Legal Practice Course part-time over two years, alongside working full-time as a trainee and gained a Distinction of 90%.

Sacha’s practice encompasses the whole spectrum of legal cases pertaining to private children matters. At present, this includes helping parents reach arrangements for their children after separation, international contact, international relocation of children, international child abduction (Hague and non-Hague), recognition and enforcement of foreign orders, international adoption, domestic abuse cases, cases involving very serious allegations and Fact-Finding Hearings.

She has been commended by clients who are grateful for her “professional, respectful, attentive and helpful service” and “really knowing the detail” in what one client termed “one of the most difficult stages of [their] life.”

Sacha regularly writes pieces and delivers talks for the media, both legal and non-legal, on a variety of domestic and international Children Law topics.

Sacha is a member of the Child Abduction Lawyers Association (CALA), Resolution, Careful Child Relocation and the Association of Lawyers for Children (ALC). She is also a member of the Lexis+ UK Family ‘next generation’ Consulting Editorial Board (CEB). Sacha writes and speaks some French.

In her spare time, Sacha is a violinist in the Academy of St Mary-le-Bow orchestra.
