Charlotte is a highly experienced specialist in private and public children law and care proceedings. She has practised in this field exclusively since qualifying in 2010 and joined Dawson Cornwell in 2020 and being made up to partner in 2024.
Charlotte has been recognised as a “Star Associate” by Chambers 2024 and a “Rising Star” by The Legal 500 2024.
Elle est membre de la Law Society Children Panel et est en charge de superviser la gestion de l’accréditation de la Legal Aid Agency au sein de Dawson Cornwell. Elle est accréditée spécialiste dans les domaines de la violence familiale et des procédures de garde par Resolution. Elle est membre de Resolution, de l'Association of Lawyers for Children et de l'Association des Juristes Franco-Britanniques. Elle est aussi membre du Central Family Court Duty Solicitors Scheme. Elle a été membre du comité de Young Legal Aid Lawyers de 2008 à 2015.
Additionally Charlotte is an appointed member of the Law Society Children’s Law Sub Committee, an appointed member of the Resolution Legal Aid Committee, a member of the Association of Lawyers for Children, the Franco-British Lawyers Society and Resolution. As an expert public children law practitioner she is also an active member of both the Central Family Court and the East London Family Court Duty Solicitors’ Scheme.
Charlotte was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in February 2024 on the South Eastern Circuit to sit within the Civil and Family jurisdictions.
She has lectured students at BPP Law School, the College of Law and Anglia Ruskin University and has also acted as a mentor for Young Legal Aid Lawyers.
