Abigail has a 2:1 degree in French and History from the University of Edinburgh. As part of her French course, she spent a year studying in France at Université Paris-Sorbonne IV.

After graduating in 2018, she went on to study the Graduate Diploma in Law at Nottingham Law School where she completed a research project on Divorce Reform. She achieved a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course and studied the family law elective. She wrote her LLM dissertation on Divorce Tourism in England and Wales.

Whilst completing her legal studies she worked as a volunteer at Support Through Court helping litigants in person in relation to family law matters. Prior to joining Dawson Cornwell in September 2021, Abigail spent a year working as a family law paralegal at both regional and London firms, where she gained experience assisting in the matrimonial finances teams and also on international child abduction matters.

She speaks advanced French.
