Kate Brett - Dawson Cornwell

Kate trained at Dawson Cornwell and qualified as a solicitor in 2019.

She has an Upper Second degree in Law with German from the University of Sheffield, as part of which she spent a year studying the German legal system at Freie Universität in Berlin. She completed the accelerated Legal Practice Course in July 2017 at the University of Law achieving Distinction and attaining Master of Laws (LLM) with distinction.

She is a member of the Westminster & Holborn Law Society and Chair of its Equality Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and also a member of YRes.

Kate spent a year in Potsdam working for the British Council and teaching English to aspiring legal and business executives at a vocational college. During this year, Kate gained experience working in a German law firm. 

She speaks fluent German.
