Kate Brett made Partner

Kate Brett made Partner

We are delighted to announce the promotion of senior associate Kate Brett to partner.

Kate advises on all issues related to relationship breakdown, including divorce, financial remedies and children work. Much of Kate’s work involves complex international elements, and as a German speaker and having spent time working in a firm there, she brings expertise to cases with a German or German-speaking jurisdictional dimension.

Kate joined Dawson Cornwell as a trainee solicitor in 2017 and has risen through the firm to become partner. Her progression reflects both her outstanding ability and her commitment to clients across every aspect of family law. She has worked on cases at all levels, including reported cases before the UK Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, complex financial remedy matters involving trusts and high-value assets and private law cases in the High Court involving serious allegations of domestic abuse.

Alongside her busy practice, Kate is dedicated to pro bono work and has long volunteered at the Islington Legal Advice Centre.

We are proud to welcome Kate to the partnership and to continue supporting her exceptional work on behalf of clients in England and internationally.
