Profile

Isidro is a passionate and committed associate, a dual qualified solicitor and Spanish lawyer with more than 8 years of experience in cross border litigation. He trained at Dawson Cornwell and cross qualified as a solicitor in 2020, having already practised law in England and Wales as a Registered European Lawyer since 2016.  

He specialises in cases involving international family law, including international divorce, child abduction, securing and organising the rights of access of out of the jurisdiction parents, leave to remove, registration and enforcement of foreign orders and international pre and post marital contracts. He has extensive experience in managing legal teams located in different jurisdictions along with well rounded knowledge of private international legal mechanisms especially European Regulations and Directives as well as Hague Conventions.

Isidro graduated from the School of Law, University of Valencia, Spain in 2015, subsequently qualifying as a Spanish Abogado. He is registered at the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Valencia, Col Num 18.210. In 2017, he read English law with QLTS Advantage at City Law School, University of London, as part of his cross qualification training. He has also completed a course, in 2013, in private international law at The Hague Academy, The Netherlands.

He is a member of the Spanish Association of Family Lawyers (AEAFA) and the elected President of the NextGen Group of the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA), being regularly invited to speak at their Annual Congress. 

Isidro is a native Spaniard and Catalan. He is frequently invited to lecture in Spain on international family law and interviewed in the Spanish press.
