We receive many requests for placements, but we usually take no more than one or two students at a time.
The minimum placement period is two weeks, but some stay, by prior arrangement, for extended periods of up to a year. We sometimes take students on formal university work placement schemes.
Our placement scheme
Our students work principally in our acclaimed international children department. Most students find the work exciting because of the opportunities they have to become involved in court hearings, often of an international nature.
In order to be considered for our placement scheme, it is not necessary to be a law student but, if you are not, you must be able to demonstrate a specific interest in family law.

The placements are unpaid if for up to two weeks, but are paid if for over two weeks.
