Almost uniquely, Simon has wide expertise in money and children cases. His case-load in pro bono family law clinics in London, including one he founded, is mostly child arrangements disputes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And his naturally empathetic and caring style is widely admired by clients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of his cases get settled amicably, in mediation or round a table. Simon likes to talk and negotiate, rather than simply write letters. He is direct and gives strong advice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simon often writes for the monthly journal Family Law, where he has been appointed Thought Leader and he was appointed to the prestigious Duxbury Committee, which advises on the use of lump sum calculations in finance cases – particularly in big money cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simon is an experienced collaborative lawyer and trained mediator; he is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in Big Money cases and Emergency Procedures in financial relief cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His memberships include Resolution<\/a>, the International Academy of Family Lawyers<\/a> (having formerly sat on its Executive Committee), the Union Internationale des Avocats<\/a> (UIA)<\/a> (formerly being the elected President of its Family Law Commission) the Franco-British Lawyers Society<\/a> and Liverpool FC Supporters Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
