Kandice qualified as a solicitor in July 2025 following the completion of her training contract at Dawson Cornwell. She now works in our Children Department.
She graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a 2:1 degree in Law. As part of this sandwich degree course, she spent a year working as a legal assistant in Dawson Cornwell’s Matrimonial Department from 2020 to 2021.
During her time at university, Kandice undertook work experience providing pro bono advice to victims of domestic abuse, volunteering at a homeless shelter and mentoring school students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
She completed her undergraduate dissertation reviewing the treatment of pensions on divorce.
After graduating in 2022, she went on to study the Legal Practice Course at the University of Westminster, in which she achieved a Distinction.
Kandice is a member of the YRes division of Resolution and both the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and International committees of the Westminster & Holborn Law Society. Additionally she is a mentor with Lawyers Who Care, mentoring care-experienced aspiring lawyers.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing football and tennis.
