{"id":1035,"date":"2022-12-07T09:15:26","date_gmt":"2022-12-07T09:15:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.dawsoncornwell.com\/?post_type=solicitor&#038;p=1035"},"modified":"2026-04-28T16:34:05","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T15:34:05","slug":"rebecca-taylor","status":"publish","type":"solicitor","link":"https:\/\/dawsoncornwell.com\/ru\/the-team\/rebecca-taylor\/","title":{"rendered":"Rebecca Taylor"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rebecca qualified as a solicitor in September 2023 following completion of her training contract at Dawson Cornwell; she now works primarily as a family lawyer in our Matrimonial Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rebecca advises on all aspects of family law, including divorce and dissolution of civil partnerships; financial remedies; jurisdictional disputes; cohabitation and private law matters such as international and domestic relocation and child arrangements. Much of Rebecca&#8217;s work involves significant allegations of abuse and international elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She is a member of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion committee of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cwhls.org.uk\/\">Westminster and Holborn Law Society<\/a> and a member of <a href=\"https:\/\/resolution.org.uk\/\">Resolution<\/a>. Additionally, she is a mentor with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lawyerswhocare.org\/\">Lawyers Who Care<\/a>, mentoring care-experienced aspiring lawyers, and a member of the Young Professionals network of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In her time as a trainee in our Children Department, Rebecca assisted Carolina Marin Pedre\u00f1o on the reported cases of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bailii.org\/ew\/cases\/EWFC\/HCJ\/2023\/5.html\">F v M (Rev1) [2023] EWFC 5<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bailii.org\/ew\/cases\/EWCA\/Civ\/2022\/495.html\">P (Children: Disclosure) [2022] EWCA Civ 495<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bailii.org\/ew\/cases\/EWHC\/Fam\/2022\/739.html\"> Re V &amp; W (Hague Return Order, Lithuania) [2022] EWHC 739 (Fam)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prior to joining Dawson Cornwell, Rebecca worked as a paralegal in a law firm specialising in claims for vulnerable individuals against public authorities; these claims often involved abuse and human rights violations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She achieved a Distinction in her Legal Practice Course (with an LLM in Family Law) at the University of Law in Manchester.
