Her work includes high and ultra-high net worth cases involving complex business and corporate structures, matters concerning high-profile individuals, cohabitation disputes, international child abduction and wardship proceedings, and contested relocation and cross-border child arrangements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Isabela&nbsp;also maintains a growing practice in modern family law, with particular expertise in issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community. She regularly advises on international surrogacy, parenthood, and disputes arising from diverse family structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Isabela&nbsp;holds a Master of Laws degree (LLM) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, with a specialism in public international law, alongside an undergraduate degree in law from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in Brazil. She achieved a Distinction in her Legal Practice Course, which was obtained in conjunction with a second LLM.&nbsp;Isabela&nbsp;is also the published author of a book on same-sex marriage in Brazil and of several articles on family-related matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trained as a mediator in Brazil,&nbsp;Isabela&nbsp;is a member of&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.resolution.org.uk\/yresnetwork\/\"><strong>Resolution<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.resolution.org.uk\/yresnetwork\/\"><strong>YRes<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;division, committed to constructive, solutions\u2011focused approaches to resolving family disputes. She is also a member of the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cwhls.org.uk\/\"><strong>Westminster &amp;&nbsp;Holborn Law Society<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prior to joining Dawson Cornwell as a trainee in 2022,&nbsp;Isabela&nbsp;worked as a paralegal at a Legal 500 firm in London, assisting in matters across the full spectrum of family law.
