Shabina fue admitida en el Bar en 2009 y actualmente está completando sus estudios para colegiarse como abogada.

Recibió el premio Blackstone Entrance Exhibition Award y la beca Lord Lowry Scholarship por La Honourable Society of Middle Temple en 2008.

Su especialidad es la disputa de menores, violencia doméstica, divorcio y resoluciones económicas con experiencia en Sharia Law, tanto para derecho de familia como para para temas económicos. 

Shabina ha trabajado como abogada independiente en temas de violencia doméstica con un alto riesgo y con clientes vulnerable. En 2012 ganó la Winston Churchill Travel Fellowshippermitiéndole viajar por Sri Lanka, Cambodia e India haciendo una investigación sobre víctimas de violencia con ácido.

Shabina is now a part time lecturer in law and teaches Sex & Gender in the Legal Process at the University of Buckingham and Advocacy & Professional Ethics at the University of Greenwich.

Shabina habla con fluidez Bengali, Hindi y Urdu. También puede comunicarse con el lenguaje de signos, habiendo obtenido el certificado nivel 1 de lenguaje de signos británico.
