Floriane is a senior associate in the Children Department who qualified in 2020; she is recognised as a “Recommended Lawyer” by The Legal 500 2025. She is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in Public Children Law and Domestic Abuse.
Floriane advises on all issues relating to children law including care cases involving issues of severe child abuse, domestic and international child arrangements, international and domestic relocation and child abduction. Much of Floriane’s work has an international element.
She has acted for clients for whom she has assisted on several reported cases including a case involving severe parental alienation and a case involving a conflict of jurisdiction.
She is a member of Resolution y YRes and is a director at the general board of the Franco-British Lawyers Society.
Floriane is a native French speaker and she also speaks Spanish and basic Russian. She often acts for French, Swiss or Belgian citizens and is regularly asked to provide affidavits of Laws in French for those jurisdictions.
She holds three academic qualifications: a degree in Foreign Languages applied to Business and Trade from the University of Nancy in France, a degree in Law from the University of Strasbourg and a Masters’ degree in EU and International law with the University of Strasbourg, achieved while on Erasmus scholarship at the University of Birmingham. She achieved a Commendation in her Legal Practice Course and joined Dawson Cornwell in 2016.
