She advises on all aspects of children law, specialising in cases with an international element. She undertakes work in cases ranging from international family disputes, to child abduction (Hague and non-Hague), proceedings under the inherent jurisdiction, wardship, forced marriage, stranded spouses, child arrangements (residence and contact), relocation matters (leave to remove) and public law.
Caroline trained at Dawson Cornwell, qualifying as a solicitor in 2012. She has a First Class Honours degree in law from the University of Westminster.
Before joining Dawson Cornwell, she worked as a legal assistant at various prominent firms in Montréal, Canada assisting in family, child law and child abduction cases. She has been a Commissioner of Oaths for Québec, Canada (Commissaire à l'assermentation) since 2010.
Caroline is a member of the Franco-British Lawyers Society (l'Association des Juristes Franco Britanniques), the International Association of Lawyers (l’Union Internationale des Avocats) and the British Spanish Law Association (BSLA).
She has acted as Rapporteur for the 2nd International Family Law & Practice Conference “Parentage, Equality & Gender” (2013) and the triennial International Family Law & Practice Conference “Culture, Dispute Resolution and the Modernised Family” (2016).
She is fluent in French with a high level of Spanish.
