Kathleen O'Callaghan - Dawson Cornwell

Kathleen joined Dawson Cornwell as a trainee solicitor in May 2021 on secondment from the Crown Prosecution Service.

Kathleen has a 2:1 degree in Law from the University of Bristol, graduating in 2019. Her dissertation was on the right to silence and focussed heavily on the balance between the public interest and the human rights of individuals.

She then then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course with accompanying Masters from the University of Law and achieved a Distinction. This included a comprehensive unit on Family Law.

Kathleen embarked on a training contract with the Crown Prosecution Service in November 2020 and is currently on a six months secondment with Dawson Cornwell.

She was a member of the University of Bristol Law Society whilst studying and has completed several mini-pupillages in both the criminal and family fields.
