IBA Conference Buenos Aires

Anne-Marie Hutchinson OBE, Russell Bywater, Rhiannon Lewis and Carolina Marin Pedreño attended the annual conference of the International Bar Association in Buenos Aires, Argentina attended by over 4,000 international lawyers.

Anne-Marie Hutchinson OBE is current Chair of the Legal Practice Division Family Law Committee and chaired the session on the International Movement of Children.

This session was honoured by the participation of Hon. Gustavo Bossert, the highly regarded Argentinian jurist; professor of law, former Judge of the Supreme Court of Argentina and novelist. His address was reported in the Argentinian national newspaper, La Nacion: click here to read.

Rhiannon Lewis chaired the session on Mediation in International Child Abduction Cases.

Carolina Marin Pedreño participated in the roleplay at the session on Mediation in International Child Abduction cases, presented by Denise Carter OBE of Reunite and Dr. Marilyn Freeman of London Metropolitan University.
