During her studies, she completed a year long placement with Dawson Cornwell in the Children Department, working on a number of legally aided and privately funded matters involving issues around care, non-molestation, contact arrangements, international child abduction and forced marriage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In her time in our Children Department, Anat has assisted Sulema Jahangir on the reported cases of <a href=\"https:\/\/caselaw.nationalarchives.gov.uk\/ewhc\/fam\/2024\/2230\">Omay Ali Elhag Elkndo v Elnoaman Gassam Elsyed (Committal: Sentence) [2024] EWHC 2230 (Fam)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/caselaw.nationalarchives.gov.uk\/ewhc\/fam\/2024\/2204\">Omay Ali Elhag Elkndo v Elnoaman Gassam Elsyed &amp; Ors (Committal: Findings) [2024] EWHC 2204 (Fam)<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/caselaw.nationalarchives.gov.uk\/ewhc\/fam\/2026\/594?query=dawson+cornwell\">C (A Child: Transnational Abandonment: Wardship) [2026] EWHC 594 (Fam)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After graduating, she went on to study the Legal Practice Course at BPP University and hopes to qualify as a solicitor in the coming years. As part of this course, Anat studied the Family Law elective and wrote her LLM dissertation on the regulation of abortion law in the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anat speaks fluent Tamil and enjoys yoga and pilates in her free time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Anat is a paralegal in our Children Department.
