He combines his knowledge of personal taxation with wide experience in dealing with wills and estates, trusts and charities. Increasingly he gives advice in these areas of law where there is an international aspect. He also advises in connection with disputes over wills, estates and trusts.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He studied law at Trinity College Cambridge and obtained his law degree in 1975. He qualified as a solicitor in 1978 and worked for a large City of London legal practice before joining Dawson Cornwell in 1992 where he was promoted to partner after a year, in 1993.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Martin is a member of the Law Society, the Probate Section of the Law Society, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Charity Law Association and the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists. He holds financial planning certificates 1, 2 and 3 of the Chartered Insurance Institute.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Martin is a director of Centre 70 Advice Centre which is one of the main providers of free legal advice in south London. He has provided voluntary help and free legal advice with Centre 70 since the late 1970s.
