Kirsty is a senior associate who advises on divorce and separation, financial remedy proceedings (including Part III financial relief following an overseas divorce), cohabitation and TOLATA disputes, and pre and post nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements.

She regularly acts in high net worth and ultra-high net worth matters involving complex financial, business and trust structures, and has particular experience in cases with international assets. Kirsty works closely with her clients’ family offices and other professional advisers to deliver comprehensive, strategic solutions tailored to each client.

Kirsty’s clients include city professionals, entrepreneurs and business owners, individuals with significant inherited wealth and their partners, as well as homemakers and parents. She is equally experienced in acting for both the financially stronger and more vulnerable individuals, and in resolving matters both outside of court as well as through court proceedings.

Kirsty combines a sensitive and empathetic approach with clear, pragmatic advice. She takes time to understand her clients’ priorities and works collaboratively with them to achieve the best possible outcome in a constructive and measured way.

Kirsty qualified as a solicitor in December 2021, having trained at a Legal 500 London firm. Prior to joining Dawson Cornwell, she worked at a Top 100 UK national law firm. She is a member of Resolution and YRes, and currently serves as Vice President of the South East London & Kent YRes committee.

A graduate of the University of Exeter, Kirsty is a mentor on the university’s Career Mentor Scheme, supporting aspiring lawyers. She has also undertaken pro bono work with the National Centre for Domestic Violence and St Mungo’s Legal Advice Clinic in Bristol.
